David Mas Masumoto


David Mas Masumoto is an organic farmer and the author of Wisdom of the Last Farmer, Harvesting Legacies from the Land (Free Press/Simon and Schuster 2009); Four Seasons in Five Senses: Things Worth Savoring (Norton, 2002); Harvest Son (Norton, 1999); and Epitaph For A Peach: Four Seasons On My Family Farm (HarperSan Francisco, 1995, 1996). He is the winner of the Julia Child Cookbook Award for Best Literary Food Writing and a Critic’s Choice Award from the San Francisco Review of Books. His other books include Heirlooms (Heyday Books, 2007) and Letters to the Valley (Heyday Books, 2004).
