Chrystos, poet and activist, author. Her works include: Fugitive Colors (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 1995); Fire Power (Press Gang, 1995); and In Her I Am (Press Gang, 1993). Christos is a recipient of an NEA Arts Fellowship, a Lannan Foundation Grant, the Audre Lord International Poetry award, a Sappho Award, a Barbara Deming Memorial Grant, and the Fund for Human Rights Freedom of Expression Award.
